Richard qualified from Trinity College Dublin, Ireland, in 2012, having already completed a degree in Business and Law from University College Dublin. After graduating, Richard moved back to Surrey where he worked in general dental practice in Ripley and then as a Maxillofacial Senior House Officer at the Queen Victoria Hospital, East Grinstead, where he gained surgical experience. During this year, he completed his MFDS examinations, becoming a member of the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh.
Following this, Richard returned to general dental practice, working both within London and Surrey as a private dentist. Soon after, he identified endodontics (root canal treatment) as being his particular area of interest and was accepted onto the Masters of Clinical Dentistry specialist training programme at Guys Dental Hospital, London, in 2015. He currently splits his professional time between his master’s programme and in practice, primarily limited to endodontics. Richard is caring, patient and meticulous, making him well suited to delivering comfortable, effective endodontic treatment.
Away from his work and studies, Richard is typically found watching sport, reading or dreaming up travel plans that he hopes to one day fulfil.
