We aim at providing a relaxing and trusting environment for you to feel comfortable. Sedation is a form of anxiety minimisation that makes treatment more pleasant to you.
Sedation involves using medication without the need for general anesthesia.
Intravenous sedation is the most commonly used in adults. Drugs are administered by an injection into a vein in your arm or in the back of your hand. You will remain able to speak to your dentist. Recovery after intravenous sedation can take a little time, but please be sure that you won’t leave Chessington Dental Practice until your dentist has confirmed that you are safe to do so.

“I arrived at this practice with a mouthful of problems and very dispirited with the dental world. Phil and his wife Rasa have restored my faith and my trust in dental treatment.”
